OUR HISTORY

 

The Center of European and International Justice (CEIJ) is an international non governmental, non political and non profit organization dedicated to the law research, training, and teaching, established and operating as a non-profit, public interest society under American and European law. Its international headquarters have been in New York, since 1996. One of its essential purpose is to promote and disseminate knowledge among members of the international legal community.

The Center has two main departments: Department of European Union law and Department of International public and private law.

The publications of the Center has a main scope the contribution of access to legal information and research in European and International law. It does so through the activities of both Departments by using the Internet and other information technology. Some of the leading legal informatics experts in the world are working with the Centre.

The work of the Center it is also reinforced by actions gathered by the Universities as well as the businesses, by comparison, dialogue and collaboration between companies, public and private Institutions and civil society and making at the government and parliament proposals, ideas and suggestions for management of innovation policy that allows the country to seize the opportunities that new technologies offer.

The Center is non-partisan and independent. The Center organizes research programs, seminars, panel discussions, workshops, training courses and other activities relating to their use in research, culture, dialogue and peace among peoples in both national and international level.
